In reply to Your Excellency's letter No. 115 of the 2 instant, I have the honour to inform you, that as the water taken from the Colonial Government Mains, is not stored in the Naval Yard previous to its distribution, it is difficult to form an estimate of the consumption, which varies considerably according to the number on board.
